Meet our Recruitment Chair…
Ellison Brewster

VP of Recruitment

My name is Ellison Brewster and I have the honor and privilege of being Alpha Chi Omega’s Vice President of Recruitment this year. Alpha Chi has brought me my greatest friends and has been my home away from home throughout my three years. The girls in Alpha Chi are truly the most genuine, kind, and fun girls I know, and it is my greatest joy to lead them this year. Our girls are active on campus and possess countless accomplishments like Camp War Eagle Counselors, Student Recruiters, War Eagle Girls, Majorettes, Tiger Paws, and so much more. These achievements are amazing, but the attributes that I am most proud of are their genuine friendships and the way that they love fiercely and lead each other well.

I can remember my first day of recruitment like it was yesterday, so I know all too well what it is like to be in your shoes. I felt every emotion possible; I was nervous, excited, and expectant to what was to come. The recruitment process grew me in ways that I did not know was possible and at the end of the week, I was surrounded by the sweetest sisterhood in Alpha Chi.

From my first recruitment party to Bid Day, I felt cherished, valued, and loved in Alpha Chi. This chapter has brought me my greatest friends, biggest cheerleaders, so many opportunities of leadership, my most favorite memories, and much more. I know that recruitment can bring many nerves, but I can promise you that the impact that you will have from your future sorority far outweighs any of those previous emotions.

My biggest piece of advice I can give you is to open yourself up to whatever this experience may bring you and to be more excited than anything for the recruitment process. Follow your heart, trust your gut, open your hearts to the girls who want to be in your life, and go into each chapter with an open mind. I hope that you will think about what kind of friendships you are looking for here at Auburn and take those values into account when you are visiting each chapter. I am so excited for you to meet the women I love the most here on Auburn’s campus, they love me incredibly well, and I know you will feel the same the moment you meet them. Remember that there is a chapter here for you and they are meant to support you and love you well. I am so very excited to meet each and every one of you and watch you find your sisterhood here at Auburn, and if that is Alpha Chi, I cannot wait to welcome you home!

Meet our New Member Educator…
Claire Pate

VP of New Member Education

I am so honored and excited to serve as Alpha Chi Omega’s VP of New Member Education for this year! After navigating my own Freshman year and all the transitioning and growth that it brings, I knew that I wanted to be the person to help a new member class through that time. I want to be the person that you can come to when everything is going great, but also when everything is going wrong. I want to be there through the happiest laughs and also through the heavy tears. I want to hug you when you get that position and hug you even tighter if you don’t get it. I want to teach you all about Alpha Chi and how wonderful it truly is.

College is one of the hardest, yet most rewarding and joyful seasons you will ever experience and I am so excited to see you go through it! Alpha Chi Omega brought me people that are there through those best and worst times. You will soon meet the most genuine people who will encourage, uplift, and support you no matter what through this chapter. I could not be more grateful that the Lord chose me to be the person that gets to help you transition to Auburn University and Alpha Chi. I hope you know that you are already so loved and have been prayed over for months. I can’t wait to squeeze you on bid day!

The Alpha Chi Omega Symphony

“To see beauty even in the common things of life, to shed the light of love and friendship round me; to keep my life in tune with the world that I shall make no discords in the harmony of life; to strike on the lyre of the universe only the notes of happiness, of joy, of peace; to appreciate every little service rendered; to see and appreciate all that is noble in another, be her badge what it may; and to let my lyre send forth the chords of love, unselfishness, sincerity. This is to be my symphony.”
